I had a mixed experience during my stay at Armada Hotel Manila. While the location was great and the room was spacious and comfortable, the service left much to be desired. On one hand, the restaurant showed signs of improvement with attentive staff, but on the other, I found the front desk to be inefficient and lacking in courtesy.
Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious with comfy beds and functional air-conditioning, though the bathroom needed maintenance. The lights could be brighter, and I noticed the shower lacked a proper divider.
Service
5.0
The service at the front desk was disappointing; the staff seemed untrained and uninterested in assisting. However, I did find some restaurant staff like Gilbert to be attentive, which was a pleasant surprise.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a great location, close to Roxas Boulevard with plenty of bars, restaurants, and nightlife options within walking distance, making it convenient during my stay.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were okay; while the meals were generally good quality, the selection was quite limited and seemed more geared towards locals than international guests.
Facilities
5.0
Although the hotel had basic facilities like room service and car hire, I found some amenities lacking, such as reliable Wi-Fi and a frustrating towel situation by the pool area.

My stay at Armada Hotel Manila had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly, which I really appreciated. However, the limited power outlets and cramped dining area were drawbacks. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for its value, but it's not without its flaws.
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was quite spacious and well-maintained, though the bathroom setup could use improvement. I found the water temperature tricky to control and the view was disappointing. It would be nice if they upgraded some features.
Service
5.0
While some staff were very friendly and helpful, there were inconsistencies in service quality, especially at the front desk. Check-in took longer than expected due to slow systems, which detracted from the experience.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in a quiet area, yet it's conveniently located near restaurants and main roads, making it easy to explore. However, the surrounding street felt a bit sketchy, which was a downside.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were limited, and I noticed that breakfast choices were quite sparse and not very appealing. The atmosphere in the restaurant felt underwhelming, which affected my dining experience overall.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the small pool and gym were not as impressive as I hoped. The lack of staff oversight by the pool and the cramped environment made it less enjoyable.

My stay was a mixed bag at Armada Hotel Manila. The room I had was spacious, but it seriously needed a deep clean—lots of dust and grime. The location is great for nightlife and was convenient for some sightseeing, but the service left a lot to be desired.
Rooms
5.0
The room was huge, which I loved, but it felt dusty and not properly cleaned. The bathroom had issues like a flooding sink and a shower without a door.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive. I felt like I had to jump through hoops just to get basic amenities like towels and toilet paper, which was frustrating.
Location
8.0
The location is excellent—very close to local bars and restaurants. It’s in a vibrant area, but it felt a bit harsh for first-time visitors at night.
Dining

I was disappointed with breakfast. The options were limited and didn’t cater much to Western tastes. It took forever to get eggs cooked, and they weren't even done right.
Facilities
5.0
The pool looked a bit run down and could use some maintenance. Also, the hotel overall doesn't feel like a solid four-star experience based on the state of things.

The service was friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated how the staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs, especially with my son's special dietary requests.
Location

The location was fairly accessible, especially for commuting purposes. It was close to the Commission of Overseas Filipinos office, which was great for my needs. However, the street felt a bit sketchy at times.
Dining

While the restaurant had good food and options for my son’s diet, the breakfast didn't seem to appeal much to international tastes. I wanted more variety, but the meals I tried were satisfactory.

The hotel had decent facilities like a beautiful outdoor pool, but the cramped pool area and limited power outlets were drawbacks. I also found the WiFi to be unreliable at times.
